Rob Demery 

ROB DEMERY,  is a native of Flint, MI. He graduated  from Jackson State University (JSU) in Jackson, MS. Rob is certainly one of the new up and coming stars who is destined to earn his place among Hollywood's best. Developing his skills as an actor is his greatest concern.  Rob's acting career began in Flint, MI in the production The Watsons Go To Birmingham by playwright Christopher Paul Curtis. Rob is continuously involved in most activities that are theater-related he can get his hands on. He is the immediate past president of MADDRAMA Performance Troupe as well as held the title of Mr. Debonair(2005-06), which is a male representative for the campus' chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Some of his stage credits include SARAFINA, To Kill A Mockingbird, A Christmas Carol, Othello (The Remix), The Waiting Room (Midwest premiere of Samm-Art Williams), The Lion and the Jewel, Robert Johnson: Trick The Devil, Fences, New Beginnings, Take Me Back, Jelly's Last Jam, An Evening of Poetry and Drama: Featuring Nikki Giovanni and MADDRAMA, and Challenges, Choices, and Consequences. He has directed shows as well.  Rob has aslo been in films (Most recent, The Dynamiter) in which he played an ex-marine. Rob also was chosen by the National Association of Dramatic and Speech Arts, Inc. as an All-Star Cast member for his role in the play Konvergence presented at the 69th Annual Conference in Memphis and also received an Excellent Rating for his original play, I Give My AllHe was also chosen for the All-Star Cast member for his role in Ceremonies in Dark Old Men (Theo) presented at the 71st Annual Conference in Dallas, TX.  He also paid poetic tribute to stage and screen actress Tonea Stewart at the conference in Memphis. Additionally, Rob has been afforded the opportunity to travel and perform extensively throughout the country with different theatre companies and has several upcoming scheduled performances.  
In 2005, Rob spent a summer interning at The Black Academy of Arts and Letters in Dallas. He worked under the supervision of  Curtis King and Akin Babatunde. While interning Rob networked and formed relationships with some of the industry's most highly respected entertainers such as Obba Babatunde', Kim Fields, Kiki' Shepherd, Phyllis Stickney, Sharon King, Russell Hornsby, Erykah Badu, and the legend herself, Ruby Dee
Rob, in 2008, completed a one year residency with the St. Louis Black Repertory Company.  He now is the founder/artistic director of Red Light Performing Arts Company which focuses on educating youth and young adults.                            
Rob has had extensive theatrical involvement since becoming serious about pursuing a career in acting. From initially believing that his fame was to emanate from his unique and soulful talent as a rap lyricist/performer  or from his highly recognized skills on the basketball court, ROB DEMERY has found his niche in acting and the possibilities are limitless. So for those of you who want to say you know a star, then you better get to know him now. Because there is no doubt that ROB DEMERY is  on his way!
